Networking Lunch (Perth): Personal Branding - how to build an appropriate brand for your professional success.

The Networking

We invite you to take a couple of hours out of your day to connect with others in the industry to discuss high level topics of real importance, develop new relationships and gain critical information. This is a rare opportunity to network with other CEOs and senior management professionals from charities, associations and other non-profit organisations. Ample opportunity will be given for you to discuss issues and network with others.

The Topic

Have you ever thought about your own personal brand and how it aligns with that of your organisation? Have you thought about how your brand and that of your organisation impact on each other?

Join your colleagues from the association sector to find more about this important subject.
Specifically, we will look at:

  • How CEOs can build their personal brand.
  • Identify the tools you can use to build your brand
  • How your personal brand is “on” all the time
  • How a strong relationship with your Chair can lead to a positive image(both internally and externally) for your non-profit

The Speaker

Gerry Gannon is one of Australia’s leading conference facilitators and corporate MCs. A former radio announcer and journalist, he spent almost ten years working with ABC Radio in Perth, Sydney and Darwin as a Reporter, Producer and Presenter.

Gerry Gannon has over 25 years experience in the media of Australia, Ireland and South East Asia. He spent a time in PR, which allowed him the opportunity to travel and to get to know the business sector both in Australia and SE Asia. It was at this time that he established Indonesia’s first English language radio station in Bali for a Perth/Indonesian joint venture partnership.

Gerry has been providing media skills training to government, not-for-profit and industry for over 10 years. Following his experience on the conference circuit he now provides speech and presentation training courses. But his main passion is in providing a refreshing dimension to conferences with his quick wit and his ability to quickly grasp some of the complex issues presented at conferences.
