THE FACILITATORS 

Jennifer Pelvin, Director of Butler Pelvin & Associates

Jennifer has a successful business in Wellington providing services to associations and charitable organisations.  She has been involved in the not for profit sector for her whole working life and has worked in every facet of associations, from operational and management services to volunteer guidance and governance.  Jennifer has held executive positions in leading organisations, twice in chief executive roles.   She has been consulting and mentoring since 2007.

Jennifer has a Master’s in Business Administration (Association Management), is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Certified Board Source Consultant, and a valued member of the Australasian Society of Association Executives. Jennifer is excited by good  governance and she is constantly sought after in providing governance support to some of our leading associations. 



Brett Jeffery – General Manager of AuSAE New Zealand

When it comes to associations, there is not much that Brett hasn’t seen.  He works on a daily basis with multiple NZ associations and knows the issues that impact board performance. 

Brett is a long term AuSAE member having served on the AuSAE board and now General Manager New Zealand. Brett is passionate about ensuring not-for-profit leaders receive opportunities to network and further their careers.

He has had over twenty years’ experience working alongside association and other non-profits in his numerous New Zealand tourism and hospitality roles.
