During this time, as we are forced to change and establish news ways of working, interacting and doing business, there are many impacts that you will see on your teams culture and your leadership style. Join Martine Harkin from Leading Teams as she discusses:

  • How do we lead when we don’t know where we’re leading to
  • How do we preserve and nurture the culture we have worked so hard to develop during a time of crisis
  • How do you as a leader provide support and clarity for your team when the current climate is unclear and ever changing
  • How do we navigate our internal teams and various employee personalities to understand the impact this crisis is having on each of them
  • As a leader how do you accept that you have no control over this situation
  • And most importantly what steps and processes can we implement now to help, and carry our teams into the future post this crisis. Will we be in a better position than we’re in currently?

This session will help to answer your questions and gain clarity around what your opportunities might be from a cultural and leadership perspective during this time.

Meet the Speaker: Martine Harkin, Director, Leading Teams

Leading Teams brought Martine on board as a Partner because of her genuine, honest and straightforward approach to team dynamics.

Martine delivers programs to a diverse range of clients across the corporate, education, not-for-profit and sporting sectors. Because of this, she has much anecdotal evidence of our Performance Improvement Program.

Martine’s unique approach creates a pathway for effective learning that allows participants share knowledge and challenge thinking. A great strength of Martine’s commitment to leadership development is the way she follows up on her workshops through offering on-going support and advice, and through giving feedback, as well as seeking it for herself. She lives what she espouses – which is the glue that creates the authenticity participants respond to so positively.

Martine established the Leading Teams Emerging Leaders Program (now called High Performance Leadership), which is an intensive five-day course for individual professional development. Her passion for developing leaders stemmed from her experience of being promoted into a leadership role without formal leadership training. Instead, Martine learnt how to be leader ‘on the job’.
