About the Opportunity
This newly created role will lead member acquisition, engagement and retention initiatives, supporting the success of a recently launched membership strategy. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, you will use member insights, stakeholder engagement and data-driven decision-making to enhance the member experience, strengthen membership value and drive sustainable growth.

This is an opportunity to shape the future of the membership function, influence organisational priorities and make a meaningful impact on member outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing optimisation of the membership strategy, tier structure and value proposition
  • Drive membership acquisition, engagement and retention initiatives
  • Oversee the end-to-end member experience, including onboarding, support and administration
  • Analyse membership data and performance to identify opportunities and inform strategy
  • Develop and deliver targeted membership campaigns across the member lifecycle
  • Collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders to enhance member value and engagement
  • Identify and implement process, system and automation improvements

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience in a Membership Manager or similar role within a membership-based organisation
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver strategies that drive member acquisition, engagement, retention and growth
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and membership data to inform decision-making, with iMIS experience highly regarded
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving capabilities
  • A proactive, commercially minded and member-focused approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering member value
