As a professional association for association executives, one of the most important functions of AuSAE is to provide the tools, information and resources to assist our members to have the most successful career possible.
Check out the AuSAE jobs boardto see some of the association management roles currently available. If you are looking for staff you can also post your role to the jobs board as well. Further Education (CAE)
If you are serious about your career in association management then it is well worth considering becoming aCertified Association Executive. The CAE is a formal course (delivered online) that covers the fundamental skill sets required to be a good, all-round, association executive. Even those with experience in the sector will find the course useful. Once you have successfully completed the course you are then able to add the CAE post-nominals after your name.
The AuSAE Board of Directors may elect a person as a Honorary Life Member who, in its opinion, has rendered distinguished service to the Society. All nominations will be reviewed and assessed by the AuSAE Board of Directors. The AuSAE Board of Directors will consider all nominations for life membership usually at the first Board meeting in the calendar year.
Having the opportunity to learn from and share with other AuSAE Association members was vital in helping me develop as a competent Association executive. The challenges around leadership and management of Associations have never been greater and being able to access relevant expertise, networks and training is essential if you are to achieve your real potential.
