Registrations are now closed. For further information please contact AuSAE at info@ausae.org.au.
The Networking
We invite you to take a couple of hours out of your day to connect with others in the industry to discuss high level topics of real importance, develop new relationships and gain critical information. This is a rare opportunity to network with other CEOs and senior management professionals from charities, associations and other non-profit organisations. Ample opportunity will be given for you to discuss issues and network with others.
The Topic
Strategic planning is critical to organisational success. Different from classic business planning, the strategic variety involves vision, mission and outside-of-the-box thinking. Strategic planning describes where you want your not-for-profit to go, not necessarily how you're going to get there.
Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) has undergone a business transformation over the past 3 years through strong leadership and sound strategic planning. It is clear that to achieve success on and off the field that strong strategic partnerships are required across a spectrum of areas and this has been the basis of the success of cricket in Western Australia.
In her address, Christina will outline the steps, key insights and learnings she has observed through WACA's transformation. How do you develop strategic partnerships? What do they look like? And how do you channel these partnerships to deliver organisational objectives?
The Speaker Christina Matthews, Chief Executive Officer, Western Australian Cricket Association
Christina was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the WACA in December 2011 after previously serving as General Manager of Commercial Operations and Communication at Cricket New South Wales, where she was responsible for strategic direction, managing partnerships with sponsors, rights holders and suppliers, government relations, event management and an active role in the development of the Blacktown training facility. She was also Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Association for prolonged periods.
