AuSAE is honored to host Andy Ellis and Dr Angela Lim as part of our digital landscape webinar series. Since Covid, more people are working remotely. Staff and member wellbeing is now at the focus, particularly in the media. This webinar will look at tools available and discuss ways your Association can improve the wellbeing of members and staff.

CEO and co-founder of Clearhead, a NZ social enterprise that takes a holistic and proactive approach to mental health and wellbeing that is driven by data and design. Clearhead's mission is to improve access to care by providing choice, convenience and control to the consumer.
Trained as a Paediatric doctor at Starship Hospital and having completed research at the Harvard School of Public Health. Angela’s passion for tackling inequality and her focus on preventative care led her to believe that technology has the best potential to drastically improve health outcomes.
Clearhead has worked with large NZ corporates as well as through a public-private partnership with Te Hiringa Hauora produced a modern mental wellbeing website called Small Steps. This zero rated website ensures digital mental health tools is equitably accessed by anybody, regardless of whether they have data on their mobile or not.
Andy Ellis
Digital Manager at Te Hiringa Hauora / Health Promotion Agency - an evidence-based health promotion organisation, influencing all sectors that contribute to health and wellbeing in Aotearoa.
Andy leads the team responsible for 25+ health related websites as well as a number of digital tools and online communities including Depression.org.nz, Alcohol.org.nz, Karawhiua, Smokefree and Safer Gambling Aotearoa.
Andy has an extensive background in large scale technology projects in the transport, agriculture, community engagement and investment banking sectors and has been heavily involved in the tech start up scene over the last decade, with his previous company being selected as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2018.
Having lived experience of mental distress and facing the challenges associated with this, Andy is a passionate advocate for Digital Wellbeing and the creation of innovative solutions to help reduce the impact of depression and anxiety on the lives of New Zealanders.
