The Networking
We invite you to take a couple of hours out of your day to connect with others in the industry to discuss high level topics of real importance, develop new relationships and gain critical information. This is a rare opportunity to network with other CEOs and senior management professionals from charities, associations and other non-profit organisations. Ample opportunity will be given for you to discuss issues and network with others.
The Topic
Personal branding, while not a new concept, has become increasingly important in the digital age. While personal branding is not merely a CEO centric domain, the authenticity and leadership practices of CEOs have never been more transparent to stakeholders with the advent of digital media.
Personal branding entails capturing an individual’s uniqueness and strengths and promoting these qualities to target audiences. Establishing a CEO personal brand creates an opportunity for executives to promote and espouse these qualities as a part of the organisation’s image to both internal and external stakeholders.
The personal branding landscape has change dramatically with the advent of social media and online technology, The role of the CEO has evolved to be more visual, connected, social and assessable than ever before. Likewise, the customer, volunteer, investor and collaborator audiences of our organisations expect to have access to the insights and visions of organizational leaders.
With this in mind, this session will explore: why is it important to develop a personal brand to enhance stakeholder engagement? How can CEOs develop a distinct personal brand identity and brand promise? And what are some of the digital tools that can best communicate and engage stakeholders at various levels?
