Association Networking Lunch - Autumn

Take a couple of hours at the start of the day to connect with others in the industry to discuss high level topics of real importance, develop new relationships and gain critical information. These Lunches provide you with a unique opportunity to network with your peers in a comfortable and informal setting. This is your chance to spend a few hours in-person talking with your colleagues. COVID has changed the way we communicate, some changes for the good, some not. Hear how one association has learnt from its communications mistakes and embraced new ways to reach members who are actively more wary, and weary, of the news, messages and missives aimed at them.

Leigh Catley is head of communications for Federated Farmers, the person responsible for the way the association of 13,000 members talks to itself, it's members, to the community and to the media.

She shares some tips, some trauma and some laughs about communicating to members through a pandemic.
