About the Retreat

The Women in Association Leadership retreat has been designed as a safe and supportive environment to inspire, grow, and connect association leaders.

Over the four days, you will learn what it takes for senior women leaders to flourish - how they stumbled and what they learned along the way - so you can thrive in your associations.

This all-inclusive experience features inspiring women speakers, external leadership experts, stories of success, panel discussions, and interactive workshops while exploring the excellent restaurants and wine village of Martinborough, New Zealand.

COST:              AUD $2,280 Members, AUD $2,480 Non-Members
INCLUDES:     Retreat Registration*, Return transfers Wellington, Accommodation (3 nights), Transfers to official events and hosted breakfast, lunch and dinner during the event. Register here!

Meet our Facilitator, Lisa O'Neill

Charismatic and engaging, Lisa is a well known keynote speaker, author and MC to audiences in New Zealand and Australia.

Lisa is obsessed with people living the lives that they want to live - to honour themselves by being more of themselves. Helping companies improve their staff and customer engagement and individuals to have more energy, more passion and more happiness in their lives. Lisa gives people the tools and the permission to be the best version of themselves.

With more than 10 years experience as a keynote speaker, Lisa speaks about the importance of energy, excellence and enthusiasm, the power of personal presentation, the myth of work-life balance and how to live a magnificent life.

Being born and raised in small town New Zealand, Lisa has a great ability to work with people from all walks of life.

Lisa is the author of three books, ‘Look Gorgeous, Be Happy’, ‘Juggling in High Heels - How to Organise Chaos’ and ‘The Lickable Third’.

She believes we all want to be happy, to have energy, to feel amazing but so few know how. How to have, do, and be the vibrant energetic person that they dream of being.

Spend the morning with some reflective activities and introduction sessions with prominent Association leaders

Lunch / Afternoon 

Lunch and Afternoon Activities 

An afternoon of discovery, connection and immersive experiences Choose between:

  • Exploring your creativity at the Social Scent Company candle making workshop.
  • Discovering the history and culture of Greytown on a walking tour.
  • Stepping outside your comfort zone at the Greytown Honey Beekeeper and Honey experience.


Evening 

Dinner at Moy Hall Vineyard, Martinborough

Pre-Dinner drinks at Moy Hall Tasting Room followed by dinner.

Day 3 - Thursday 18 May 2023

Morning 

Start your day with an optional morning wake-up activity. Choose from Yoga or Pilates, or take a guided walk through the Martinborough vineyard.

Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation.

A day of facilitated learning with sessions on leadership and self-discovery with Lisa O'Neill commencing at 9:30am.


Lunch / Afternoon 


Lunch at Palliser Estate

Continue with facilitated sessions and guest presentation from Pip Goodwin, CEO of Palliser Estate.

Evening

Grand finale dinner

A spectacular final night dinner at one of the region's most prestigious locations.
