In a time when trust is contested and credentials are constantly evolving, the concept of a profession remains central to how societies define expertise, accountability, and ethical leadership. This pre-conference session brings association leaders together to examine the enduring value of professions, and the responsibility of those who steward them.

As AuSAE prepares to continue the important work of the Australian Council of Professions (ACoP), this session will outline a vision for how associations can lead in shaping professional standards, strengthening ethical foundations, and reimagining credentialing for a future-ready workforce.
