Miriam Hobson Occupational Therapy Australia Manager SA & NT **FUTURE LEADERS 2020 HACKATHON PANEL SPEAKER Miriam is an associations professional with qualifications in human resources and allied health. Her career encompasses experiences in Australia, Canada and the UK within a range of health, government, commercial and NFP organisations. In Miriam's role at Occupational Therapy Australia, her membership and stakeholder engagement focus is to ensure three things - an understanding of practice integration complexities, an awareness of policy impacts and the targeted sourcing of collaboration opportunities.
Susan Goode Chief Executive Officer Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group Susan Goode is an experienced research program leader and the CEO of TROG Cancer Research. She is passionate about contributing to the lives of others at a micro and macro level and this is reflected in her leadership style.
She has previous research management experience in translational cancer research and primary care research having worked at the University of Newcastle for 15 years. Susan has a Bachelor of Science (honours), Master of Philosophy and Diploma in Management. |
Christina Zerk Dental Hygienists Association of Australia Membership & Administrative Officer **FUTURE LEADERS HACKATHON FACILITATOR *** Future Leaders Taskforce Member Christina is a registered dental hygienist and the National Membership Officer for the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia. Her clinical experience has been extremely valuable in providing insights into what her members want and need and has been a huge asset. Christina has a very keen interest in ICT and her skills in this area have been highly valuable in her current role.
Emma Shields Royal Australian College of Surgeons Program Coordinator Emma moved to Melbourne from Rockhampton in 2017 and, with her background in events, accepted the role as Program Coordinator of Professional Development courses at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). Emma brings with her a wide range of experience from different industries, including travel, sales, social media marketing, events, wellness, personal development, hospitality and catering. She has enjoyed working at RACS in the unique environment. | AuSAE, partnering with the Adelaide Convention Centre are proud to announce the recipients of this year’s Future Leaders Scholarship program. The Future Leaders Scholarship Program is an awards-based program based on the selection and approval of self-nominated applicants who wish to gain full scholarship including travel, accommodation and conference pass to the AuSAE National Annual Conference ACE. The scholarship is awarded to 10 recipients from across Australia. AuSAE and the Adelaide Convention Centre acknowledge all the nominees for their submissions and dedication to the sector; the calibre of emerging leader applicants was phenomenal and we can’t wait to see our rising stars future progress. Join us in congratulating the following 2020 Future Leaders Scholarship recipients, who will be joining the tribe at BOTH AuSAE Live – Celebration Associations (1&2 December)and ACE2021

Teagan Hadley Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia Events Coordinator **FUTURE LEADERS 2020 HACKATHON PANEL SPEAKER *** Future Leaders Taskforce Member Teagan is employed at Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) as the National Events Coordinator. During the past year she has completed a Women and Leadership Australia (WLA) ‘Leading Edge’ program and HV101 for basic heavy vehicle knowledge. She sees herself continuing to undertake courses well into the future as she believes you can always improve yourself and learn in the ever changing world around us. |
Susie Obeid Strategic Programs Manager Australian Orthopaedic Association **FUTURE LEADERS 2020 HACKATHON PANEL SPEAKER Susie Obeid is passionate about applying her skills in organisations that have a social positive impact as is evident in her current role as the Strategic Programs Manager at the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA). Susie is responsible for a number of portfolios including: patient education, workforce, rural surgery and professional conduct and standards. She is a solution focused individual by nature and has been affectionately referred to as ‘Polly’ short for ‘Pollyfilla’ for her willingness and ability to assist in different departments where the need arises. |
Sean Collum Australian Institute of Credit Management Member administration **FUTURE LEADERS 2020 HACKATHON PANEL SPEAKER Sean brings many years’ experience, in a range of customer facing roles, to his current position at the Australian Institute of Credit Management (AICM). Time spent in the government service (ATO), in the private sector – both SME and large (global) corporate, plus 2 stints in the not-for profit sector, brings a unique breadth of knowledge and a passion for the satisfied client, member or customer. |
Tynelle Spinner Records & Information Management Professionals Australasia, Member Services and Events Coordinator **FUTURE LEADERS 2020 HACKATHON PUBLISHED AUTHOR (READ) *** Future Leaders Taskforce Member Tynelle is the Member Services and Events Coordinator for the Records and Information Management Professionals Australasia (RIMPA). Previous experience working within Local Government as a Library Technician and an Events Coordinator, has allowed her a smooth progression to her 3rd year in the Association Sector. With her Advanced Diploma Qualifications in Library and Information Management and a passion for member communications, Tynelle brings a fresh perspective to RIMPA. |
Sarah Allen Australian Psychological Society Conference and Events Coordinator **FUTURE LEADERS 2020 HACKATHON PANEL SPEAKER *** Future Leaders Taskforce Member After completing her studies in Hospitality/Event Management in 2008, Sarah entered the word of corporate travel, working in various roles where she honed her skills in attention-to-detail, relationship and logistics management, and laughter. For past five (5) years Sarah has been a member of the Conference and Events team at the Australian Psychological Society (APS), calling on skills learnt in the corporate world to assist with managing the many demands events can produce. |
Daniel Petkovski The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Head of People & Culture Daniel is the Head of People and Culture at The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. His career encompasses experience within commercial, private, healthcare, and NFP organisations. He is passionate about wellbeing, leading organisational change and development, advocating for staff and fostering a positive organisational culture. Committed to continuous growth, Daniel is an associations member, Australian HR Institute (AHRI) Member and is a committee member on the AHRI VIC Not for Profit Network. |
