Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resources

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation progresses—certainly making for unsettling times—we learn more each day which allows us to establish a plan for moving forward.

Like you, we’re following advice and guidelines from our partners and Government surrounding precautionary measures. The health and wellbeing of our staff, attendees, and community comes first, which is why, as of March 16, 2020, we’ve decided to postpone all upcoming events until 31 May 2020. Additionally, AuSAE staff will be working remotely with the full capabilities of serving our members.

In the meantime, here are some of our top priorities for the near future:

ACE Conference - Melbourne (NEW DATES NOV 29 - 1 DEC)

We are disappointed that we need to make this decision however, the safety of our members, community and Australia is our main concern and first responsibility during this time. We have not made this decision lightly as this is our largest event in the AuSAE calendar and provides considerable and crucial income to the ongoing viability of the association. We hope you will continue to support the postponed event.

associationX - Wellington

I regret to advise that we have made the difficult decision to postpone associationX until later in the year.  The new dates will be advised next week, it will be sometime in November/December 2020. We are disappointed that we need to make this decision however, the safety of our members, community and New Zealand is our main concern and first responsibility during this time. We have not made this decision lightly.

Australian Government Support

The Government is acting decisively in the national interest to support households and businesses and address the significant economic consequences of the Coronavirus.

  • This subsidy will see workers receive a flat payment of $1,500 per fortnight through their employer, before tax.
  • The payment will be paid to employers, for up to six months, for each eligible employee that was on their books on 1 March 2020 and is retained or continues to be engaged by that employer.
