Job Title: Part-Time Membership Manager (Contract)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (AU-based)

Type: Contract | 3-4 days per week (flexible hours)

The Australian Restaurant & Cafe Association (ARCA)is looking for a passionate and organised Membership Manager to lead our renewals and new member growth. This is a part-time contract role perfect for someone who loves relationship-building, advocacy, and small business support.

What You’ll Do

As our Membership Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our growing member base—supporting existing hospitality operators and bringing new ones into the fold.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing membership renewals, including outreach and retention communications.
• Acquiring new members through prospecting, lead nurturing, and value-driven sales.
• Responding to member enquiries and guiding them through the onboarding journey.
• Keeping our CRM database updated, and producing monthly progress reports.
• Attending hospitality events (online & in-person) to connect with industry operators.
• Supporting member-facing campaigns like Positive Hospo and ARCA's advocacy efforts.

• Excellent communication and people skills (phone/email/event-based).
• A self-starter who thrives with autonomy and flexible hours.
• Comfortable with sales and renewals—you love helping businesses succeed.
• Strong organisational skills and CRM/database experience.
• Experience in associations, membership organisations, or hospitality a big plus.

The Details

• Part-time contract: 3–4 days per week (flexible hours)
• Work from home with occasional in-person meetings/events
• Hourly contract rate (negotiable based on experience)
• Contract until 30 September 2025, with potential for renewal
